The Role:

Services for Young Children (SfYC) Early Years Advisory Team are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to the post of Advisory Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for you to use your early years expertise and join a supportive team of professionals working across Hampshire to raise outcomes for all children.
What you’ll do:
You'll support schools and settings in improving outcomes for their children through the implementation of the SfYC Strategic Plan.
Your role will involve building trusting, professional relationships, and working closely with a range of different colleagues and partners across educational settings and within Hampshire County Council, to deliver quality experiences for our youngest children.
What we’re looking for:
As a Qualified Teacher (QTS) you must have current experience and/or knowledge of working within the maintained, private, voluntary and independent sectors, and across the birth to five years age range. We are looking for someone who has an excellent knowledge and understanding of Early Years with a passion for inclusive practice in all areas of work. You will be able to challenge existing practices and identify innovative solutions.
This role will work across Hampshire in different districts according to need and skills. You will be required to travel to various locations within Hampshire (and the Isle of Wight or other local authority), and it is essential that you have a current drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
