Occupational Therapist – Band 6\nLocation: Hillingdon, West London\nContract: Permanent | Full Time\nHours: 8:00am–4:00pm, plus one evening per week (4:30–7:00pm) in residential setting\nReports To: Clinical Lead for Therapies\n\nA rewarding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join a growing therapy service supporting children and young people aged 7 to 19 with moderate to severe learning needs, communication difficulties, and autism spectrum conditions.\n\nWorking as part of a multidisciplinary and collaborative team, the successful candidate will manage a caseload and support the development of students’ functional and sensory regulation skills across the school day.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nCarrying out assessments and delivering one-to-one, group, and class-based interventions\n\nWriting clear, professional reports to support EHCPs and reviews\n\nWorking closely with teachers, support staff, and other therapists to embed therapeutic strategies into daily routines\n\nContributing to a holistic and integrated approach to student support\n\nSupporting staff and families to better understand and respond to sensory and functional needs\n\nYou’ll be part of a committed team focused on improving access to learning and overall student wellbeing.
