Outline of Role
The Hardware & User Lifecycle Administrator will work in the Hardware & User Lifecycle team which is part of the wider End User Support team that provides equipment, access and technical support to internal staff across EMEA. This role primarily focuses on hardware provisioning and user lifecycle management, including new hire, employee change and termination processes, as well as other administrative tasks. The Hardware & User Lifecycle Administrator will also support efforts to streamline asset operations procedures for tasks related to all lifecycle phases, including procuring, receiving, tracking, staging and disposal of IT hardware. The successful candidate will work with other asset resources across Allegis to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices.
Responsibilities
* Assist with tasks relating to user lifecycle management as well as basic hardware provisioning & configuration
* Assist with daily asset management duties, including data entry and asset tracking
* Support the wider End User Support team when asset audits take place across EMEA
* Help maintain relevant stock levels by performing stock monitoring tasks
* Support IT needs with procurement related activities which include but not limited to requesting quotes, ordering & receiving equipment
* Liaise with external suppliers when procuring new hardware and arranging equipment repairs
* Assist with equipment refurb processes, including cleaning & rebuilding
* Contribute to the upkeep of the team's knowledge base
* Support the wider End User Support team when office transition work takes places across EMEA
* Assist with other IT and user lifecycle management activities
* Some lifting required, up to a maximum of 15kg (computers and other IT assets)
* Assist with wider End User Support team processes as required by IS leadership
* Work to company agreed SLA's

Knowledge, Abilities and Qualifications
* Basis knowledge of Microsoft Windows
* Basis knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook.
* Working knowledge of Active Directory and/or Exchange Tools
* Hands on experience of PC hardware.
* ITIL or similar training
* Experience of working in an operational role
* Experience of working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool.
