This full-time role is set to begin in September and offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a strong and supportive English department.

The Role:
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
Plan, mark, and assess work in line with the school’s curriculum.
Foster a positive classroom environment with strong behaviour management.
Support students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential.
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school literacy initiatives.
Participate in school events, parent evenings, and professional development.
Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school (NQTs/ECTs welcome).
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Enthusiastic, driven, and committed to the progress of every student.
Willing to undergo or currently holds an enhanced DBS check.
