This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on, reactive environment supporting spill response, industrial cleaning and environmental remediation projects across the UK. This position would suit a practical, multi-skilled technician who is comfortable working in dynamic conditions and is looking for long-term stability with clear development opportunities. Responsibilities… Carry out spill response and reactive environmental works Operate high-pressure water jetting and undertake industrial cleaning duties Support remediation, groundworks, tank cleaning and decommissioning projects Assist with clean-up of spills, fly-tipping and contaminated sites Undertake surface preparation and spray lining where required Carry out welding and fabrication tasks as needed Support installation, servicing and inspection of tanks and interceptors (including OFTEC) Investigate and remediate issues with tanks, interceptors and pump-and-probe systems Produce remedial reports following inspections and works Operate HGV vehicles on an ad-hoc basis as part of response activities Requirements… Experience working in a similar industrial, environmental or utilities-based role HGV Class 2 licence Flexible approach to working hours due to emergency and reactive works Willingness to work away from home when required, including overnight stays Full UK driving licence Experience operating plant machinery (highly advantageous) Willingness to undertake additional training and certifications as required Right to work in the UK What's on offer… Competitive salary and structured benefits package Company pension scheme Life assurance (4x salary) Healthcare cash plan with dependent options Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption policies Employee assistance programme including GP and mental health support Generous annual leave plus bank holidays Ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities If you're interested in learning more, please contact Beth Allen directly for a confidential discussion.
