This role is being offered as a 15-month fixed term contract, working full time, the core hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 09:00 17:00. What youll do on a typical day: Oversee the production of both financial and operational management reporting, to include P&L statements and balance sheet reconciliations ensuring all accruals and prepayments are justified and are in line with the accounting standards Preparation of data and reports to be presented to the business and customer, also assisting with analysis for future business proposals Use initiative and judgement to support the senior leadership team in delivering operational excellence, challenging the status quo and delivering maximum benefit to the business Be responsible for the wellbeing, performance and motivation of your finance team through regular performance dialogues, objective setting and coaching This is a customer facing role and there will be a strong emphasis on relationship building and collaboration What you need to succeed at GXO: Proven experience in a similar finance management role, ideally within a transport or logistics function Fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent Experience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders Familiarity with the principles of open book accounting would be beneficial We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
