ROLE: Quantity Surveyor
HOURS: 40 Hours Per Week
LOCATION: Chesterfield (Hybrid)

We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor who will support the Custom Solar commercial department and contribute to the Power & Grid business unit as part of one of the UK's leading specialist Solar PV developers.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Collate monthly cost data to support the Commercial Manager with the production of CVRs.
2. Manage budget control and forecasting for allocated projects, providing monthly updates.
3. Ensure correct contract administration of allocated projects in line with contract requirements.
4. Oversee cash management and cash flow production.
5. Prepare forecasting documentation.
6. Manage subcontractor accounts, including measurement of works, variations, liability trackers, payment notices, and final accounts.
7. Attend progress meetings and contribute to weekly commercial meetings.
8. Conduct site visits and support client meetings alongside the Commercial Manager.
9. Mentor junior staff and ensure work is carried out in line with internal processes and governance.
Required Qualifications:
10. Minimum 2:2 degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
11. 3+ years' experience working at Quantity Surveyor level.
12. Excellent understanding of Contract Law, with NEC suite experience preferred.
13. Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.
14. Willingness to undertake site visits.
15. Full UK driving licence.
