Main Responsibilities
* Establish relationships and onboard new suppliers, building successful partnerships. Strong supplier relationship management is required.
* Coordinate with Design to receive product requirements and work with the production team to allocate factories based on manufacturing capability, negotiate prices, and work towards price targets.
* Maintain the critical path, ensuring deadlines are met from initial samples, fabric and fit approvals, to delivery.
* Manage your factory base to ensure production schedules are followed.
* Coordinate stock received in the warehouse with QC checks and communicate any issues with suppliers.
* Liaise with relevant departments to ensure timely arrival and processing of goods, and inform departments of key delivery dates.
* Raise Purchase Orders as needed.
* Work closely with the Product and Design Team, including Quality, Garment Tech, and Merchandising.
* Send monthly reviews of all offshore suppliers, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
* Develop and nurture strong working relationships with offshore supply bases to ensure delivery schedules, quality, and margins are maintained.
* Ensure on-time range launches by monitoring the critical path dates for both Brand and Clients.
* Proactively monitor sales and stock to optimize sales, margins, and freight routes/costs.
* Manage daily intake and coordinate with the supply chain for shipping methods.
* Identify new product opportunities to support business growth and expansion.
Experience
* Proficiency in Chinese and confident communication across channels like WeChat and Microsoft Teams.
* At least 4 years' experience at Merchandiser level within fashion or eCommerce industries.
* Experience in wholesale operations is advantageous.
* Experience liaising with factories in Asia (China, India).
* Stakeholder management experience at all levels.
