Markets Operations Belfast Overview:
Our Operations groups are core to the success of the Markets business. We support a wide range of internal stakeholders including Front Office Sales and Trading Desks, Compliance, Legal, Finance and HR; alongside having significant interaction with external clients, playing a key role in the overall client experience.

Role Overview:
The Operations Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.
What you'll do:
1. Resolve complex process problems which require an in-depth evaluation of basic procedures and industry standards
2. Offer advanced solutions for assigned processing areas
3. Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff
4. Serve as analytical or procedural expert for securities processing deliverables/initiatives
5. Prepare expense budgets, analyze expense calculations, and prepare unaudited financial statements
6. Ascertain fund value and allocate values to each investor
7. Assist with the development of new techniques and streamlining processing activities
8. Process and approve payments
What we'll need from you:
9. Previous relevant experience
10. Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
11. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
12. Stakeholder management experience
Education:
13. GCSE English & Maths
