Project Administrator
Location: Watford (office-based)
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, office-based)
About the Company:
We are representing a well-established engineering company delivering high-quality projects to a portfolio of blue-chip commercial clients across the UK. They have a reputation for excellence and a strong pipeline of work and are looking to expand their project delivery team with a motivated and highly organised Project Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project Managers and wider delivery team
* Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, schedules, and reports
* Update and manage project databases, trackers, and filing systems to ensure accurate records
* Organise meetings, take minutes, and follow up on agreed actions
* Liaise confidently with site-based team members, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
* Support with raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and monitoring project budgets
* Track project progress and highlight potential risks or delays to the team
Requirements:
* Proven experience in an administrative role (ideally within an engineering, construction, or project-based environment)
* Confident in communicating and building rapport with site-based operational teams
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
* Strong written and verbal communication abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude with a willingness to learn
