Our client, a respected international consultancy with 25+ years' experience, seeks a skilled Fire Engineer to focus on fire safety upgrades and remedial works within commercial refurbishment projects across the UK. This partially remote role is ideal for Midlands-based candidates to facilitate nationwide travel.
Your Role Will Involve:
* Performing comprehensive fire safety assessments and site surveys.
* Creating and deploying effective fire safety strategies.
* Developing and critically reviewing fire protection system designs.
* Providing expert guidance on fire safety regulations and ensuring compliance.
* Overseeing and directing fire safety enhancements and necessary remedial works.
* Working closely with project teams and key clients.
* Guaranteeing all projects meet the highest fire safety benchmarks upon completion.
What We're Looking For:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Fire Engineer, ideally with a background in commercial refurbishment projects.
* In-depth knowledge of fire safety principles, regulations, and relevant British Standards.
* Appropriate fire safety qualifications (e.g., FDIS, IFE membership, or equivalent).
* Demonstrated ability to design and effectively implement fire safety solutions.
* Willingness and capacity to travel nationwide to various project sites.
