A leading global manufacturing company based in Northwich is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their Supply Chain team. The company has won multiple awards and has a reputation as an excellent place to work by its employees.
Your new role
Working on an alternating shift pattern (6am-2pm one week, followed by 10am-6pm the following week), the Production Planner will play a crucial role in the company's supply chain operation and, working alongside another Production Planner, will have the following responsibilities:
* Develop and manage mid-to-long-term plans for demand, supply, and raw materials.
* Support short-term scheduling for multiple complex product lines or high-volume facilities.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
* Present your findings in weekly team meetings.
* Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using project management tools.
* Design and implement new processes to enhance efficiency and performance.
* Maintain strong relationships with manufacturing sites, warehouses, and suppliers.
What you'll need to succeed
1. A background in production planning within a multi-line manufacturing environment (at least 3 production lines)
2. Strong experience using SAP
