Teacher Aide - Marlborough Kindergarten (Permanent Part-time - 10 hours/week)
Discover a fulfilling opportunity to work in a child-focused learning environment with a warm and supportive team at Marlborough Kindergarten. As part of Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA), we have a rich history in Early Childhood Education since 1908.
About Us:
At AKA, our commitment is to provide a safe and enriching early childhood learning environment. A charitable trust, we deliver exceptional, play-based and safe learning experiences in our 112 kindergartens and KiNZ centres across Tāmaki Makaurau. We are proud of our strong bicultural foundation, and our commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, localised curriculum, culture and identity.
About Marlborough Kindergarten:
Kia ora and welcome to Marlborough Kindergarten - a place where tamariki and their whānau truly belong. We provide a warm, inclusive environment that celebrates our multicultural community and supports strong partnerships with whānau. Tamariki are encouraged to explore, play, and develop a love for learning in a setting that values diversity, creativity, resilience, and curiosity. Our daily programme weaves Māori perspectives into every aspect of learning, with a carved wharenui at the heart of our kindergarten and a deep respect for te reo Māori, tikanga, and Te Ao Māori.
Nestled beside a beautiful reserve, Marlborough Kindergarten has strong connections to nature and sustainability. With expansive green spaces and an emphasis on environmental guardianship, tamariki learn to care for Papatūānuku through the Enviroschools programme, gardening, and looking after our guinea pigs. We actively support each child's transition to school through close relationships with local primary schools and involvement in the Kaipātiki Kāhui Ako. Our kindergarten is a vibrant space where tamariki are empowered as leaders and lifelong learners.

We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Teacher Aide to join our dedicated team on a permanent, part-time basis (10 hours per week).
