The successful candidate will inspire students to explore the past through a lens of critical analysis and primary research. You will deliver the History curriculum across all Key Stages, with a focus on fostering independent thought and sophisticated essay-writing skills. The department prizes a broad curriculum, and you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of periods ranging from medieval statecraft to 20th-century political revolutions. You will also be responsible for supporting students aiming for history-related degrees at top-tier universities, including Oxbridge.

Experience and Qualifications
