As a Recruitment Consultant, you will manage and grow a busy temp/contract desk within the engineering and technical sectors. You will develop strong client relationships, source skilled technical candidates, and oversee the full recruitment process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain relationships with new and existing engineering and technical clients.
2. Source, interview, and register high-quality temporary and contract candidates.
3. Manage the complete recruitment cycle including advertising, screening, compliance, and placement.
4. Respond quickly to urgent and high-volume client requirements.
5. Keep regular contact with candidates and clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
6. Achieve weekly and monthly activity and billing targets.
7. Stay informed on industry trends and compliance requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
8. Proven recruitment experience, ideally within engineering, technical, industrial, or related sectors.
9. Strong understanding of temporary and contract recruitment.
10. Confident relationship builder with the ability to manage a fast-paced desk.
11. Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
12. Target-driven with a proactive and resilient approach.
13. Full UK driving licence preferred.
