Operation Shift Manager, Delivery Station

At Amazon, we are committed to being the most customer‑centric company on earth. The Delivery Station Manager will lead fast‑moving facilities where products are received, sorted, stowed and shipped to customers.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee day‑to‑day delivery station operations and ensure safety, service quality, customer experience, and productivity.
* Lead a team of Shift Managers and Shift Assistants; conduct meetings, training sessions, assign duties and communicate with flexible (FLEX) drivers.
* Maintain a safe workplace, ensure appropriate training, and support associates’ needs.
* Drive process improvement initiatives and lean tools; track sorting and dispatch operations.
* Collaborate with business partners (Transport & Sortation, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering) to meet operational goals and present findings to senior leadership.
* Handle customer shipment processes: receive, scan, lift and move shipments up to 22.5 kg, route within AMZL coverage area, and support job duty assignments.
Typical day activities include reviewing operational forecast, determining productivity requirements, supporting safety programs, and proactively identifying improvement opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
* 1+ year of employee and performance management experience
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
* Ability to work flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights, or holidays
* Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts
Preferred Qualifications
* 1+ year of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
