About the Role
We are currently seeking multiple Contract Pensions Administrators to support a growing Third Party Administration (TPA) function within a well-established financial services organisation.
Following recent growth and new client wins, the pensions administration team in Southampton is experiencing a significant increase in workload. As a result, we are looking for experienced contractors to provide immediate support during this busy period.
These roles offer an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team environment and contribute to a function that is scaling both operationally and technologically.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting across multiple levels:
* Senior Pensions Administrators (1–2 roles)
* Take ownership of complex cases and support team delivery
* Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members
* Pensions Administrators (3–5 roles)
* Manage day-to-day pension administration activities
* Support processing across a variety of pension schemes
Key Responsibilities
* Administer pension schemes (DB, DC, or third-party) in line with SLAs and regulatory requirements
* Process member events including retirements, transfers, deaths, and general enquiries
* Maintain high levels of accuracy and ensure compliance at all times
* Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders
* (Senior level) Support team development and provide mentorship
Required Skills
We are looking for candidates who have:
* Proven experience in pension administration (DB, DC, or TPA environment)
* Strong knowledge of pensions legislation and processes
* Excellent attention to detail and a risk-aware mindset
* Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and ways of working
* Strong communication and organisational skills
For senior roles:
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
* Ability to handle complex casework with confidence
