A leading UK-wide commercial law firm is seeking a Senior Clients & Markets Executive to support the growth and development of key market groups. This role is ideal for a commercially focused marketing and business development professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to help shape client strategy, raise profile, and contribute to winning new business.
The Opportunity
The Senior Clients & Markets Executive will work closely with a Clients & Markets Manager and other team members to drive the planning and execution of client development activities. From supporting strategic account plans to delivering high-impact campaigns and events, the successful candidate will play a central role in strengthening client relationships and generating new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development and delivery of business plans for key market areas
* Collaborate on client account strategies and implement tailored plans
* Coordinate and attend business development meetings, ensuring timely follow-up
* Conduct client and market research to inform plans and campaigns
* Support the creation and delivery of integrated marketing initiatives
* Organise events to increase market visibility and build client networks
* Draft client communications, promotional materials and thought leadership content
* Contribute to bids and proposals, working with wider teams to ensure timely submissions
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client data in CRM systems
* Build and maintain peer-level relationships with clients, prospects and intermediaries
* Provide general support to the wider BD & Marketing team during peak periods
Candidate profile
* Experience in business development or marketing within a professional services environment
* A confident team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems desirable
* Degree or equivalent professional work experience
* Motivated, self-directed, and results-driven
