We are looking for a skilled and motivated programmerto join our team at Vertpaint Games. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming principles and experience working with C++ and Unreal Engine. You will be responsible for writing efficient, readable code while collaborating with other disciplines to develop and refine core game systems.

Role: Gameplay Programmer (Mid / Sr / Lead / Principal)
Salary / Title: Subject to level of experience per candidate
Location: Fully Remote, must be available during core hours each day 10am - 3pm GMT (UK)

* Develop and maintain gameplay code using C++ and Unreal Engine.

//Desired Skills & Experience:
Must Have:
* Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
* Proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine development.
* Ability to write efficient and readable code.
* Strong communication skills.
* Experience with source control systems.
Nice to Have:
* 1+ years of experience working as a programmer in the games industry.
* Familiarity with Blueprint programming in Unreal Engine.
* Experience in designing and implementing core game systems.
* Knowledge of other Unreal Engine pipelines, e.g. Animation, Game Design, UI, or Audio.
* Experience with Perforce for source control.
