About the Role: We are currently seeking highly motivated, hands on, practical individuals to join our dynamic team. Some of the tasks you will carry out within the role include;
* accurately hand finishing machined components to a set specification.
* using small, air powered finishing tools to prepare components for paint.
* flatting and polishing small detailed composites in a precise manner.
* polishing mould tools used in composite production for F1 Motorsport.
You'll also have the opportunity to progress into other areas such as the pre-paint process for F1 car refinishing, including; masking, sanding, filler work, and even learning to paint. We also have a graphics department so you will be given the opportunity to learn the application of graphics and decals to finished parts.
Full training will be provided.
About You: As you will be working with high-quality precision components that hold short timescales for completion, we are looking for individuals with very high standards, a conscientious approach to work and a high level of attention to detail. You must also have an aptitude for precise manual work. Previous prep and polish experience is desirable however not essential as training will be given.
In order to maintain the service our customers demand, holding the ability to methodically and consistently check that quality is maintained before any job leaves the premises is a prerequisite from all our team at SPT.

Shifts available:
Option 1) Rotation shift; Monday-Friday (week 1 06:00-14:30 week 2 12:00-20:30)
Option 2) Late-only shift; Monday - Friday 12:00-20:30
Overtime is also available.
Candidates should hold a full driving license and have own transport as there is no public transport link near our site.

Starting salary (dependent on experience):
£25,000 - £30,000 + overtime.
