Salary: £48,000 per annum with a potential to earn up to £55,800 through Ofsted and Occupancy bonuses.

Your Role as Registered Manager in NEWARK

Leadership & Management

* Take ownership of the home’s operations and ensure every aspect runs smoothly
* Inspire and lead a professional team, fostering a positive, high-performance culture
* Provide exceptional, individualised care to children and young people, putting their needs first


Strategic Growth & Improvement

* Drive continuous improvement and implement strategies for the home’s growth and success
* Identify opportunities for development and raise standards across the board
* Build strong relationships with local authorities, external agencies, and the community


Compliance & Safeguarding

* Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant standards
* Champion a robust safeguarding culture, prioritising the welfare of children and young people
* Ensure all policies and procedures are current and effectively implemented


Flexibility & Dedication

* Adapt your schedule to meet the home’s needs, including evening and weekend work or occasional sleeping-in duties
* Lead by example, stepping in when needed to support your team and foster a culture of collaboration


What You Bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to bring passion, leadership, and a proven track record in child care


Essential Requirements

* Age 21 or older
* Right to work in the UK
* A clean driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance
* A minimum of five years experience working with children in a senior role
* NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 4 in Health/Social Care, Youth Work, or Education
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services or Children and Young Peoples Residential Management (or working towards it)


Desirable Attributes

* An enhanced portable DBS
* Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience managing a residential care setting
