The role of the Water Monitoring Technician: Our client is looking to recruit reliable, committed, hands-on Water Monitoring Technicians to join their growing Water Monitoring Team. In this role, you’ll be out in the field, playing a vital part in protecting public health and safety. You’ll carry out a variety of water hygiene and remedial plumbing tasks supporting their clients in staying compliant with key safety regulations. From tank cleans and TMV servicing to basic plumbing and water system disinfections, you’ll be ensuring environments are safe and up to standard. These roles are full-time, permanent positions based from home with travel across your local region. As a Water Monitoring Technician, you’ll report directly to the Water Monitoring Team Leader and work closely with the wider technical and compliance teams. This role is perfect for someone who’s practical, methodical and takes pride in a job well done — whether you’re servicing valves, checking water temperatures or undertaking disinfections. You’ll be given full support and all the necessary equipment, and career development opportunities. Our client will provide full training, so you become a great Remedial Technician; they set you up to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Weekly water system usage testing and outlet flushing
* Water softener hardness checks
* Monthly temperature monitoring
* TMV (thermostatic mixing valve) servicing
* Quarterly shower cleans & other tank clean and disinfection work
* Liaising with Clients & Tenants
* Management of own time and arranging own site visits
* Working at heights/manual work and working in confined spaces
