Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a full-time maths specialist to support as a Teaching Assistant within the department.

About the role:
* Start-date: 5th January
* Ongoing until end of academic year
As a Teaching Assistant based in the Maths department, you will provide 1-1 and small group intervention support. This will include adapting the curriculum and lesson plans to ensure the needs of all students are met; you will work closely with the class teachers for support. Additionally, you will provide regular progress updates to the Head of Department.
What we’re looking for:
* Recent graduate in a maths related subject
* Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
* A calm approach to teaching and behaviour management
* A genuine passion for the subject and ability to create an environment where students feel supported

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
