We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our Business Change team at the HCPC as a Maternity Cover. This role is central to supporting the delivery of our Corporate Plan, helping us to improve how we operate and deliver our regulatory responsibilities.
You will work across the organisation to understand business needs, define requirements, and support the design of effective, practical solutions. This includes gathering and analysing data, mapping processes, and identifying opportunities to improve services, systems, and ways of working.
The role will require application of industry standard business analysis best practices not only to technology change initiatives (ensuring the business need is clearly expressed and met), but also to lead on transformational change across business processes which are not specifically linked to technology changes.
As part of a collaborative change function, you'll contribute to programmes and projects that have a direct impact on our ability to protect the public, whether through improvements to registration, education, or fitness to practise regulatory processes, or the broader back office and support functions.
We are seeking someone with strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels to turn insight into action. Please note, we are aiming to fill this role quickly, so candidates who are available immediately or on a short notice period will be highly considered.
Candidate Requirements
* Educated to degree level or equivalent skills and knowledge
* BCS Business Analyst Certification or equivalent training
* Lean, Six Sigma or similar approaches are optional
* Experience delivering workshop facilitation and managing change
* Experience in service design processes, tools and methodologies
* Experience working in agile environments
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to communicate complex ideas to technical and non-technical employees at all levels
* Exceptional ability to build relationships, create networks and work as part of a team
* Flexible approach to work with demonstrable ability to lead and exercise initiative with minimal supervision
Location: London-based hybrid role requiring 1-2 office days per week at our Kennington office.
