Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in GU10 3RB area providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in a care home setting. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a willingness to support both residents and their families.
Duties
* Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
* Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
* Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals.
