About the Role
Our client, a leading global organization, is seeking a highly skilled Infra Enterprise Architect to take full ownership of designing and delivering complex on-premises server, client, and network solutions. You will be working in a secure, nuclear-sensitive environment. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong governance capabilities, and close collaboration with solution and security architects to deliver robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Lead architecture design for server, network, and client infrastructure.
Oversee server and client upgrades in high-security environments.
Work on migration of applications from legacy to modern workplace infrastructure.
Design secure server builds (CIS hardened images), application services, SQL environments, and high-availability solutions.
Implement secure networking (Application Gateway, Azure Firewall, NSG).
Configure point-to-site and site-to-site VPNs for power stations and offices.
Collaborate with architects, vendors, and stakeholders to review and implement approved designs.
Lead technical workshops, decision meetings, and governance reviews.
Support major incidents and provide root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong expertise in on-premises server and client upgrades.
In-depth knowledge of VMware, IIS, NGINX, Active Directory, and PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019/2022.
Proven track record in enterprise architecture for critical infrastructure.
Knowledge of Azure architecture and migrations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Agile/SAFe delivery environments.
Additional Information
This is a 100% onsite role with occasional travel between offices. Out-of-hours work may be required for project needs. Active SC Clearance is mandatory.
