IT Support Engineer L2 – Contract (Inside IR35)

Overview
We are looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer for a short-term, on-site contract in Manchester. The role is focused on user support, onboarding new starters, laptop staging, and providing high-quality VIP support.
This position places a strong emphasis on communication, proactiveness, and customer service rather than deep technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide on-site IT and desk-side support to office users
* Assist new joiners, including laptop setup and onboarding
* Stage and configure laptops prior to deployment
* Manage IT stock and assets
* Deliver VIP / executive support as required
* Support general ad-hoc IT requests
Skills xsngvjr & Experience
* Previous experience in an IT support / desktop supportrole L2
* Proven knowledge of Intune
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working independently
* Confident supporting users at all levels
