Class 1 HGV Driver
Salary: up to £47,218.22 (plus overtime)
Shifts: 5 on 3 off. Shift starts at 4am
Applicants must hold a current Class 1 C+E driving license and ideally have a minimum of 6 months of Class 1 driving experience.
We’re looking for a reliable, safety‑focused HGV driver to join our Class 1 team. Salary & Benefits- Earn up to £47,218.22
1. £43,718.22 basic
2. £225 per day overtime rate
3. £2,500 retention bonus (split quarterly)
4. £1,000 per year no-bump bonus.
5. CPC training delivered on site with our registered trainers, delivered within working hours
6. Training with qualified RTITB instructors/assessors
7. Paid medicals for drivers aged 45 and over when your current license is due for renewal
8. Paid digital tacho cards and any driving license updates for all HGV drivers

Tasks and Responsibilities of the HGV Class 1 Driver include
16. Making multi drop deliveries and assisting in the unloading of products and cages into stores.
17. Collecting stock and delivering to site.
18. Collection of empty pallets, steel and cardboard from stores and returning to the distribution centre.
19. Completion of daily vehicle checks and maintaining working order of company vehicles and any equipment on-board. Reporting of any vehicle damage or faults.
Successful HGV Class 1 Drivers will have the following
20. Full and current Class 1 C+E driving license
21. Must hold a DIGI tacho card
22. Good knowledge of driving laws and regulations
23. Able to communicate and clearly follow written and verbal instructions, able to lift and manoeuvre medium to heavy loads
