Overview

Breakfast Customer Service Assistant role at Vita Student – Warwick Cannon Park, Coventry. Hourly Rate: £13. Working Hours: 6am – 11am, x5 shifts per week.

Vita Student's next-level apartment design offers a variety of studios to suit our students' lives with the privacy of living alone or the laughter of living together. We offer style, luxury & comfort to our residents, surrounded by premium amenities and a vibrant city life. Part of our luxury offerings includes serving our residents a variety of breakfast.


Responsibilities

* Meet & greet residents and guests with a warm, friendly and vibrant attitude.
* Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast foods in a timely manner.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace
* Adhere to food safety regulations
* Ensure residents and facilities are being well respected by all fellow residents and guests
* Monitor produce stock levels and communicate needs to the site manager; assist in ordering produce to maintain appropriate inventory.
* Respond to all questions, queries and requests in a helpful manner
* Ensure the kitchen and breakfast areas are clean and tidy
* Deep-clean specific equipment or appliances such as fridges & ovens as required.
* Replenish refreshment stock, such as coffee beans, tea bags, milk and vending machine food products
* Be the primary point of contact for any potential incident or emergency that may occur onsite


Professional Experience

* A customer service professional with a background in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Well versed in kitchen regulations
* Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software; our Customer Service Assistant must be technologically astute.

* Excellent communication skills. English will be the primary spoken language; however multi-lingual skills would be warmly welcomed.

* Able to carry out tasks that may involve extended periods of standing and repetitive movements, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.
* Flexibility: Our facilities are open to residents 24 hours a day, 356 days a year including all bank holidays, festive and religious breaks. Where festive and religious celebrations require time off, we will always try to accommodate, however flexibility from our Customer Service Assistants is imperative to be available as required to ensure continuous service to residents.
