About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our technically focused solutions engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects involving a range of industry-leading technology stacks. The position primarily operates during UK core business hours, with participation in an on-call escalation engineering rota required.
Requirements
Essential:
* Proven experience as an Infrastructure / Cloud / Hybrid Cloud Engineer. Candidates should be able to evidence their experience across a mix of at least 50% of the following technical skills to be considered:
Technical skills:
* Windows and/or Linux server environment build and administration
* Enterprise virtualization technologies such as Nutanix, VMware, and/or Hyper-V
* Designing and/or implementing public cloud infrastructure services on Azure and/or AWS
* Active Directory & Entra ID deployment and administration
* Microsoft 365 Intune for endpoint management deployment and administration
* Microsoft 365 productivity services deployment (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.)
* Knowledge of governance standards and frameworks (Azure Well Architected Framework, NCSC Cyber Essentials, CIS Security Benchmarks, etc.)
* Virtual Desktop solutions (Cloud or on-premise)
* Excellent technical problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Strong collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams
* Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation
* Confidence in passing security vetting procedures such as disclosure checks and criminal history searches
* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator/Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Professional, Nutanix Certified Administrator, or similar) are a plus
