Overview

Executive Coordinator role at Swansea University / Prifysgol Abertawe. This is a fixed-term role until July 2026, working 21 hours per week over 5 days (ideally starting at 8:30am).

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Coordinator to support the Director of People Services at Swansea University. This pivotal role involves managing complex diaries, coordinating high-level meetings, and handling sensitive communications with discretion and professionalism.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reports and presentations, monitoring email correspondence, and ensuring timely follow-up on actions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across the University, contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course. The University is a proud bilingual institution; Welsh speakers have the right to an interview in Welsh.
