Electrician (Training into COMPEX)
Salary: GBP 38,000 – 45,000 per annum + Door to Door, COMPEX training, Bonus, Van & Expenses Card, Increased Rate Overtime, Dental/Healthcare, Early Finish Friday.
This field‑based role covers the South West (Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Newport, Cardiff, Gloucester, Cheltenham and surrounding areas). The successful candidate will upskill in COMPEX and industrial electrical work, increasing earnings through door‑to‑door overtime, occasional stay‑aways and extensive technical training while maintaining a good work‑life balance with no weekend work.
The company manufactures, installs and services a range of electrical and mechanical products for tier‑1 high‑value clients, including utilities, energy and manufacturing businesses. The team is expanding, seeking an engineer to support commissioning, testing and maintenance of industrial electrical and mechanical components. Work includes field visits across the South West and time in the workshop in Clevedon; nationwide service may also be required.
Responsibilities
* Commissioning, servicing and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical components.
* Field work with travel across the South West, including occasional stay‑aways.
* Stationary work at the workshop in Clevedon when not on the road.
* Regular hours 8:00 to 16:00 (ending 15:00 on Fridays) with door‑to‑door overtime.
Candidate
* Electrical Engineer or Electrician.
* Full driving licence.
