Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and parents. Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care and education.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate programmes that promote children's learning and development.
* Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
* Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
* Foster a positive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
* Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt programmes as necessary.
* Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a nursery or childcare setting, with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is preferred.
* Experience working with children in various age groups is essential.
