The post holder will learn to work alongside a knowledgeable team of multidisciplinary professionals that contribute to high quality care with enhanced recovery. There is ample opportunity to learn and hone skills in major ablative surgery of the upper aerodigestive tract, and harvest and transfer of autologous tissue for the purpose of reconstruction. Applicants will also be encouraged to participate in research, audit and service improvement within UCL collaboration projects around individual development requirements and the need of the service. The ultimate goal of the fellowship is to leave the post‑holder in conditions to take consultant/staff surgeon posts, preferably in academic institutions.
