Job Description
Our Geo‑environmental team undertakes a diverse range of projects across various sectors, delivering geo‑environmental and geotechnical consultancy services backed by in‑house ground investigation services. You will be working in contaminated land, geotechnical assessment, site investigation and brownfield redevelopment across property & regeneration, utilities, defence estates and transport.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake desktop study assessments
* Assist with the design, procurement, supervision and management of geotechnical and geo‑environmental ground investigations
* Accurately collect, analyse and interpret site data
* Produce interpretative contamination and geotechnical reports
* Undertake ground gas & groundwater monitoring works and assessment
Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology or related subject
* Enthusiasm and determination to learn and progress in engineering geology, site investigation, contaminated land and brownfield redevelopment
* Commitment to studying towards professional qualification (e.g. Chartered Geologist)
* Strong analytical, written, communication and presentation skills
* Relevant work experience such as a work placement (preferred)
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Full driving licence and ideally access to a vehicle
* Suitability for security clearance
