Front of House Catering Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Front of House Catering Manager to oversee the efficient running of all front of house operations for our client. This role is crucial in driving sales, profitability, and maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.
Day-to-day of the role:
Manage and oversee all front of house operations, ensuring high levels of hospitality and service at all times.
Proactively assist customers, resolving any queries or complaints swiftly.
Prepare orders of produce to meet expected trade levels and ensure food safety procedures are adhered to.
Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring clarity in responsibilities and expectations.
Conduct weekly one-to-one sessions with shift leaders and manage team performance through regular meetings.
Coordinate work rotas, including cover for public/bank holidays, to ensure adequate staffing at all times.
Oversee the induction process for new catering staff and manage the catering till operations.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures and Trading Standards issues.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience managing large volume teams, particularly in a retail-led catering or hospitality environment.
Proficient in IT, familiar with scheduling platforms and spreadsheet management.
Strong communication skills and ability to manage stress effectively.
Food Hygiene certification is essential.
Experience in managing both front of house and back house operations, with a good understanding of labour vs turnover.
