Sales and Customer Service Administrator - Kitchen Refurbishment – Location: Newbury (Thatcham) | Part time | Salary £12.50 per hour + bonus & benefits
We are the UK’s leading and award-winning kitchen makeover company. We specialise in renovating existing kitchens to save customers around 50% of replacement costs. The option to supply and fit a brand-new kitchen is also available when updates are not possible.
Responsibilities
* Be the first point of contact for showroom visitors and telephone inquiries.
* Gather full customer requirements, goals and expected spend.
* Arrange and book home visits to present sales possibilities, take measurements, and advise on options (kitchen doors, worktops, handles, appliances, etc.).
* Assist customers with choices of colours and styles.
* Answer calls from potential and existing customers and suppliers; follow up internet and email inquiries.
* Perform general admin duties: quotations, placing orders, dealing with suppliers, and other admin tasks as required.
* Ensure the showroom is clean and tidy.
* Work as part of a small team, supporting other departments as the business requires.
* Role based at the Thatcham Branch on the A4; part-time schedule: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Requirements
* Experience in a similar role with significant customer interaction both via phone and face-to-face (minimum 2 years).
* Desirable experience in Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, DIY, Home Furnishings, etc.
* Friendly disposition and ability to engage customers; enthusiasm for home improvements.
* Ability to work independently and manage showroom responsibilities.
* Confident in converting inquiries into leads or appointments.
* Ability to work weekends, alternate Saturdays with additional hours as required (no Sundays).
* IT proficiency (email, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office).
* Excellent customer service and customer-facing skills; hands-on and willing to help across departments.
* Live within a commutable distance to the Thatcham Branch.
