Stockport Without Abuse (SWA) is a grassroots charity committed to supporting our vision of everyone having a right to live in safety, and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. We work directly with women, men and children who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse.
Main purpose of the post:
The post holder will provide one-to-one support for complex cases referred to the service, alongside offering casework supervision and day-to-day management of a small team of Specialist IDVAs. They will ensure the delivery of high-quality, frontline support to victims of domestic abuse through a proactive service approach for those assessed as medium or high risk.
The role operates within a multi-agency framework, working closely with MARAC partners including Greater Manchester Police, Children’s and Adults’ Safeguarding Services, Health professionals, and other local agencies.
