Our client, a notable player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Site Agent with expertise in highways, to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves overseeing and managing all on-site activities for a construction project, with a focus on ensuring safety, timely delivery, budget compliance, and adherence to quality standards. The Site Agent acts as a pivotal link between the project management team, contractors, and subcontractors, coordinating various aspects of the project from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Management:
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Project Coordination:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing schedules, and coordinating the work of different teams and subcontractors.
Quality Control:
Ensuring the construction work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
Resource Management:
Managing the allocation of resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
Job Requirements:
Experience with Highways England projects
Strong understanding of highway construction and management
Proven track record in site management within the HTP sector
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams effectively
Strong organisational and time management abilities
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field
