We are looking to recruit a Waiting List Scheduler to join the Surgical and Critical Care team at University Hospital Hairmyres.
The successful candidates will manage all in-patient waiting lists and provide a comprehensive administrative service for Surgeons/Associate Specialists and Staff Grades, across the three sites (Monklands/Wishaw/Hairmyres).

What we'll need you to bring
* HNC/SVQ111 in secretarial studies/Business Administration or equivalent experience
* Minimum 2-3 years experience as a Medical Secretary
* Proficient in the use of software systems
* Advanced keyboard skills
* Medical terminology
* Good organisational and communication skills
It would be good if you also had
* Knowledge of Treatment Time
* Guarantee (TTG)
* Working knowledge of Trakcare and Microsoft Office packages including word and excel
* Working knowledge of OPERA
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
* Flexible and ability to cover other sites within NHSL
* Car Driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence
