The Opportunity
A well-established contractor-developer is seeking an experienced Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a variety of fit-out and refurbishment projects across commercial, prime residential, leisure, and hospitality sectors in Central London.
Projects range in value from £5-25m, offering excellent exposure to complex schemes and the full project lifecycle. The client is open to candidates joining on a permanent, contract, or long-term freelance basis.
This role is ideal for a strong Project QS looking to take the next step in their career or a Senior QS keen to join a growing team and gain experience across multiple high-profile schemes.

Key Responsibilities
-Manage subcontract packages and procurement
-Handle post-contract commercial duties
-Support project teams through the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction to final account
-Prepare cost plans, forecasts, and financial reports
-Identify commercial risks and advise on mitigation strategies
-Provide guidance and support to junior members of the commercial team

Requirements
-Proven experience as a Project or Senior QS on fit-out and refurbishment projects
-Experience across the full project lifecycle
-Ability to manage complex packages and high-value scopes
-Strong commercial awareness, communication, and leadership skills
-Main contractor or developer background preferred
