We are looking for a Community Mission Manager who is also creative and passionate about art and craft for wellbeing. We are seeking a person who believes in the ministry made possible through creative activities and possesses art and craft skills, experience, or qualifications to bring to The Studio. Key Responsibilities: The post-holder will play a significant role in the successful delivery of mission to the local community within a large and complex setting. The role is responsible for delivering both the operational elements of the mission programme and managing the business resources of the Corps, including finances, people, buildings, and procedural and statutory compliance The successful candidate(s) will: Have proven interpersonal skills, previous experience in a similar environment and in managing staff and/or volunteers, be able to work on their own initiative and in a team, enjoy working with people, and be able to deal tactfully with staff, volunteers, and the public. It is important that the candidate understands the needs of the community and has proficiency in English. Candidates must also be committed to the values, aims and ethos of The Salvation Army.
