The Role
As a KS2 teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2, following the current Welsh Curriculum.
* Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel confident, valued, and motivated to learn.
* Support the academic, social, and emotional development of every child.
* Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
* Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning and development.
* Encourage creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking in all pupils.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a KS2 teacher who:
* Is confident teaching across all Key Stage 2 year groups (Years 3–6).
* Understands that children learn in different ways and adapts teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
* Is up to date with the current Welsh Curriculum and able to deliver engaging lessons.
* Is passionate about supporting both the academic and emotional growth of pupils.
* Has strong classroom management skills and fosters a positive learning environment.
* Is committed to professional development and continuous improvement.
* Is flexible, collaborative, and enthusiastic about contributing to a vibrant school community.

Essential Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
