Regional Sales Manager - North England & Scotland
A global manufacturer with over 100 years of heritage and a $15bn turnover is looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to cover North England and Scotland.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven B2B field sales professional who wants to move into a more technical sales environment, supported by extensive product training and the backing of a well-established brand.
The business is a recognised name in portable power, air compressors, nitrogen generation and industrial equipment, supplying solutions to construction, infrastructure, utilities, events, and equipment rental markets.
The role
You will be responsible for developing sales across North England and Scotland, working directly with contractors, equipment rental companies, utilities providers, infrastructure businesses, and events organisations.
The role combines new business development with the management and growth of existing accounts. You will spend much of your time in the field visiting customers, conducting site surveys, and working with internal specialists to deliver the best technical solution for each application.
Key responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities across the region
* Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts
* Conduct site visits and surveys to understand customer requirements
* Work closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
* Promote a well-known global brand across key industrial sectors
Candidate requirements
* B2B field sales experience
* Experience selling power solutions, battery storage, portable lighting or similar equipment, OR a background in the plant/equipment rental industry
* Comfortable with travel and managing a large territory
* Strong networking and relationship management skills
* Self-motivated and commercially driven
* Full UK driving licence
Package
* £46,000 - £55,000 base salary depending on experience
* £12,000 on-target earnings
* Hybrid company car and fuel card or car allowance
* 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
