Part-Time Year 3 Teacher - Long-Term Cover

Contract: Part-time, Temporary (to cover long-term staff absence)
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced KS2 teacher looking for a new challenge in a warm and welcoming school community? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Part-Time Year 3 Teacher to join our larger-than-average primary school in Stockport.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with an average-sized Year 3 class comprising a range of abilities, including a small number of pupils on the SEND register. You will also be supported by an experienced Teaching Assistant who can be deployed flexibly to help maximise outcomes for all pupils.
Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver high-quality teaching and learning for Year 3, with strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
* Hit the ground running; direct experience in Year 3 is desirable but not essential
* Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
* Collaborate with colleagues and support staff as part of a strong team
* Use a range of learning styles to support visual, audio, and kinaesthetic learners
* Build trusting relationships with pupils, classroom staff, and the wider school community
* Deliver high-quality teaching and support every child to reach their full potential
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience as a teacher with a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
* Ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate commitment to pupil progress
* Experience with pupils on the SEND register is advantageous
