Substance Misuse Nurse – Ellesmere Port & Chester
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Substance Misuse Nurse to join a dedicated team supporting individuals affected by drug and alcohol use.
Location: Ellesmere Port & Chester
Details
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
* Contract Length: 3 months
* Pay Rate: £29/hour (Ltd)
Responsibilities
* Deliver clinical interventions in community-based hubs.
* Improve healthcare access for service users, including BBV testing/treatment, healthcare assessments, ambulatory detox, and clinical observations.
* Provide and supervise high standards of nursing care in line with evidence-based practice and Via policies.
* Carry out general healthcare activities such as wound care, ECGs, and similar procedures.
* Undertake basic life support and anaphylaxis training to confidently manage medical emergencies, including administering emergency drugs.
* Support individuals in their recovery journey, promoting health and well-being.
Requirements
* Relevant nursing qualification and registration.
* Experience in substance misuse or related field preferred.
* Confidence in delivering clinical care and managing emergencies.
