James Kemball, part of the Uniserve group, is seeking an Office & Accounts Administrator based in Felixstowe.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily office operations and data management.
* Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is operational.
* Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications (phone, email, post).
* Assist with employee onboarding and maintain employee records.
* Support HR with payroll, benefits, and other HR-related tasks.
* Organise and maintain company records and documents.
* Work with the Fleet team to manage licensing and compliance.
* Manage orders for uniforms, vehicle equipment, and supplies.
* Negotiate contracts and ensure timely service delivery.
* Handle customer credit control, credit limits, and applications.
* Assist Finance team with invoicing (fuel, trailer rental, drivers’ wages, etc.).
* Oversee fuel buying, AdBlue & HVO management, and Dartford/truck parking accounts.
* Resolve operational issues (equipment malfunctions, supply shortages).
* Proactively improve office systems and processes.
Skills & Experience
* Accounts experience, with Mandata experience (beneficial).
* Previous experience working in a transport department.
* Proficiency in IT, especially in Excel and Word.
* Attention to detail.
* Self‑motivated and driven to excel.
* Proactive problem‑solving capability.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* Ability to work under deadlines and meet targets.
* Excellent communication skills.
