Responsibilities
* As a Customer Side Repair Technician, you'll work outdoors year-round supporting our External Engineering teams to repair and replace water supply pipes to homes and commercial premises. You'll play a vital part in ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely by assisting in excavation, reinstatement and pipework repair activities.
* Assist lead engineers with pipe tracing, excavation, and reinstatement
* Repair and replace water pipework under supervision
* Operate small plant and equipment (training provided)
* Work outdoors in all weather conditions, carrying out physical manual tasks
* Engage positively with colleagues and customers
* Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota

What we're looking for
Essential Requirements
* Experience in labouring or physically demanding work
* Full UK driving licence
* Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Customer-focused attitude
* Flexibility to work weekends and evenings when on-call
* Basic Maths and English skills
* Resides within SES Waters supply area
Desirable Skills
* Experience in plumbing or reinstatement
* NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
* E-literate and familiar with safe working practices
* Possession of personal hand tools
