Clinical Support Worker – NHS Scotland (CoS Available)
Forth Valley Royal Hospital is looking for a Clinical Support Worker to provide practical patient care in a supportive clinical setting. The role supports medical professionals in delivering high‑quality patient care while maintaining safety, dignity and well‑being. The successful candidate will adapt to a dynamic environment, work as part of a team, and undergo local training.
Responsibilities
* Support clinicians in delivering patient care and upholding safety, dignity, and wellbeing standards.
* Assist with cannulation (training provided).
* Work across all radiology modalities – X‑ray, ultrasound, mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, interventional radiology and DXA scanning.
* Provide care under direct/indirect supervision of radiology specialists, nurses, technologists and radiologists.
* Use basic IT systems to support clinical operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Previous experience in a clinical health‑care setting.
* Basic IT skills.
* Adaptability and a positive teamwork attitude.
* Valid membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
* Eligible to obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) if immigration and role requirements are met.
PVG Scheme Requirement
Applicants must be members of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme to perform the tasks of this position.
