Nursery Manager role at TieTalent
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced early years leader to join our team at White Lodge, Chertsey, Surrey. This is a full-time, term-time only (40 weeks) position guiding a warm nursery environment and ensuring high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework.
The Role
As the Nursery Manager, you will lead a welcoming nursery environment where children can learn, grow, and flourish. You will oversee the daily running of the nursery, guide a team of practitioners, and ensure every child receives exceptional care and enriching learning experiences.
* Provide strong, compassionate leadership to the team and support high-quality early years education in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive setting
* Manage the services budget to ensure efficient and sustainable operations
* Contribute to strategic planning in collaboration with senior leaders
* Maintain compliance with safeguarding and regulatory requirements
Please note: due to our open and collaborative working environment and the nature of our work with children and adults with disabilities, some periods of elevated noise levels and disruption may occur in office-based roles.
About You
To be considered for the Nursery Manager role, you will need:
* Proven experience leading a nursery or early years team
* Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and SEND frameworks
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
* A good level of IT literacy
* At a minimum, a Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5+ desirable)
All staff are required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Please indicate if you are on the DBS update service.
Contract and Benefits
* Contract: 12 months fixed-term (1 September 2025 – 31 August 2026)
* Hours: 36 per week, full-time, term-time (40 weeks)
* Location: Chertsey, Surrey
* Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum
* 38 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)
